APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR THE 2025 JIFF SHORT FILM FUND

The Jewish Australian Screen Fund is proud to be partnering with the Jewish International Film Festival on this year’s Short Film Fund, with a total prize pool of $30,000 on offer.

Jewish Australian filmmakers are invited to apply for the production of a short narrative film that addresses any aspect of the post-October 7 landscape for Australian Jewry. We are seeking scripts for films that will not be longer than 20 minutes, to premiere at JIFF in October 2025.

Applications will remain open until Monday March 10, with winners to be announced on Friday April 4. Final delivery of films will be required in September.

The maximum amount that will be allocated per project is $10,000.
